A Leeds based agency has launched bespoke motion graphics for global fashion retailer, size?

Leading digital production agency, Northern Artillery created the graphics ahead of the opening of the size? Paris flagship store.

  • Established in 2000, size? is recognised as an influential streetwear brand that represent a community connected by fashion, music, sport and art. The retailer sells footwear, apparel and accessories across the globe and has grown to include a roster of highly sought-after worldwide exclusive product releases – including collaborations with Nike, adidas Originals, New Balance and The North Face. 

Briefed to create an engaging animation piece majoring on the Nike brand and the new store’s Parisian setting, Northern Artillery’s work features on the largest and most technologically-advanced screen display anywhere in the size? retail store network.

Story-boarded, designed and produced in-house by the Northern Artillery team, the animation uses visually abstract styling to blend references to Paris’ pixel street art scene, the store’s geographic context taking inspiration from the famous Centre Pompidou and Nike’s ever-popular ‘Air’ product range.

Elements of the commission also feature assets custom-created in 3D, whilst the prevalent colour palette was inspired by the Pigalle clothing brand’s basketball court, itself a collaboration with Nike, sited adjacent to its HQ on Rue Duperré.

It’s an incredible buzz to see something we’ve created from scratch displayed in a prime retail location within one of the world’s most iconic cities for fashion.
