elvis has made four senior promotions in the leadership team.
The creative agency has made the promotions as part of its ongoing ambition to help people and brands grow in a better way.
The move sees three elvis team members take on newly created roles, with:
- Strategy Director, Camilla Yates, becoming Managing Partner, Strategy
- Client Services Director, David Whitehouse, becoming Managing Partner, Clients
- Digital Production Director, Charlie Ryder, becoming Digital and Innovation Director
- Keelie Lynch, who has been Client Services Director on an interim basis while David Whitehouse was on paternity leave, is now assuming the role permanently
The four senior roles will be pivotal in helping elvis to move to the next stage in terms of realising its ambition to drive growth in a more positive way.
The promotions reflect the agency’s commitment to nurturing homegrown talent and its efforts to create an environment in which it harnesses individuals’ passions and strengths as they progress in their careers. The four individuals have a combined total of nearly 35 years at the agency, with Whitehouse joining as an Account Executive in 2010.
The opportunity to nurture such a strong team enables me to bring my passions for people and creativity together
Camilla Yates
Camilla Yates, new Managing Partner, Strategy, elvis, said: “elvis instantly felt like home to me when I joined ten years ago, and now I’m thrilled to be stepping into this new role. Being able to directly shape the direction of the agency I feel so proud to work for is an opportunity of a lifetime, especially since the business’s sustainable ambitions align with my own values.
- “Helping people and brands grow in a better way is in our DNA, and I can’t wait to further our efforts to create disproportionate impact in work we do for our clients, particularly in the spaces of equity, sustainability, community and kindness.
“The opportunity to nurture such a strong team enables me to bring my passions for people and creativity together so I’m also looking forward to playing a bigger role in that side of the agency’s development, too.”
David Whitehouse, new Managing Partner, Clients, elvis, added: “Having returned from six months of paternity leave, it’s brilliant to get stuck into a whole new challenge.
“We have incredibly long-standing relationships with some of the world’s biggest and best brands, because of our ability to truly get to know our clients’ businesses. In my new role I’ll be spending even more time with clients to understand their ambitions and what keeps them up at night so that we can continue to help them grow in a better way.
“What excites me so much about this is we have all the right team in place to do it: the most talented, driven and collaborative bunch of people you will find anywhere in adland. And it’s not just me that thinks that – our client advocacy ratings remain an industry benchmark.”
Caroline Davison, Managing Director and Sustainability Lead, elvis, concluded: “As we continue to evolve our business in line with our B Corp status and respond to the growing demand for creative agencies that truly champion a better world, we have upweighted our leadership team with a number of significant promotions. Each of these people will enable us to deliver our mission statement to help people and brands grow in a better way.”
