Dentsu has announced a strategic senior global hire, joining the London team.
Hamish Kinniburgh is being welcomed as the Global Chief Strategy & Consultancy Officer for all media agencies within dentsu. He will be based out of London, joining the executive leadership team – he will be responsible for elevating the strategic output of client teams worldwide through its network of global media agencies.
With a 20+ year track record of driving business outcomes for the world’s biggest and newest brands across USA, EMEA and the UK, Kinniburgh has proven himself as strategic marketing leader.
Prior to joining dentsu, Kinniburgh held the Global Chief Consultancy Officer position at Mediabrands and also the Global Chief Strategy Officer at UM in New York.
Hamish will be part of the newly established Media practice within dentsu, reporting to Will Swayne in his new role as Global Practice President – Media. This new role in the organisation has been created to help bring together key specialisms within dentsu including Insight, Planning, Strategy and Media Effectiveness, as well as align thinking, capabilities and expertise from around the world.
