Agency Forecast is a report that takes the pulse of independent agencies up and down the country.
Find out what others are working on, what problems they’re facing,
and how they’re going about solving them.
We interview over 100 agencies and ask them:
- How confident they are
- What’s gone well (and not so well)
- And what’s on the horizon going forward…
Then, we present our findings – and that quarter’s latest trends –
at the House of Lords. We don’t do things by halves!

Our most recent report
We launched the first ever Agency Forecast in October 2024.
Here are some of the headlines:
- Over half the agencies interviewed reported that clients have higher expectations than ever – but want shorter contracts, and for agencies to do things on far smaller budgets.
- Retaining skilled talent has been tough, with 72% of agencies citing this as a significant challenge.
- AI is on the rise – but implementing it is proving a complex issue. While 80% of agencies plan to increase their use of AI, integration challenges and team resistance are slowing progress.
- Agencies are investing more time in their own marketing. Competition is fiercer than ever, and many agencies are stepping up their marketing efforts to attract new clients, establish thought leadership, and reinforce their brand identity.
- They are also now focusing on deeper, stronger relationships with existing clients – building long-term client relationships has become a top priority to foster and secure repeat business.
